Sweet Sisters

We had our first at-home session last weekend! It was great! Photographing these girls is always so awesome and now having the pleasure to do a session in their home was even better! We captured such wonderful expressions from both girls and it was such a great experience.

It was Brynn's six year portraits and Maddie's nine month portraits. Their middle sister Abby went with dad for a treat and quality time as we photographed her sisters at their house. Besides these girls being absolutely adorable, they LOVE the camera! It went perfectly and we cannot wait until April to photograph all three girls!

Below are some favorites.

Steppin' On The Gas!

Finding the silver lining in sticky situations can sometimes be tough. Today has officially ended any "conflict of interest" we may have had with our, now former, employer. Before we had to hold off on really pushing through full force with our cliental and any outreach for advertising but now we are so ready to get things going! We already have an appointment tomorrow morning! Although it was difficult news to hear that our studio was closing, it didn't us very long to see the good things that come from this. We are really excited about this and can't wait to get more clients and build some new connections.

If you have ANY portrait photography, wedding photography, event photography, even fine art photography needs please contact us @ ninah6studio@gmail.com

Tis the Season

Christmas time is here which means lots of children and families to photograph! Outside of the studio I got to photograph Miss Ava Joy at her home along with her mother, whom I have known for ten year (crazy), and their dog Lily. Ava is one of the smartest one year olds I have ever met-- and I have met a lot! She is absolultey beautiful and I had so much fun letting her show me her house, her puppy, dancing to Taylor Swift (and sing!) in her bedroom. Here are some of my favorites! (and she loooved her Elmo)

Bill & Kristin

Bill and Kristin were married a few short weeks ago in the Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel. I feel very lucky to have met these two as a couple. I can't get over how much in love these two people were with one another. The way they looked at each other is something like a fairy-tale.  I am sure that being up-close with a camera while they looked deep into each other's eyes only magnified this fact... Their adorable daughter Grace is a perfect mix of Kristin's beauty and Bill's characteristics! Although she proclaimed that she would "take pictures tomorrow" during the after ceremony formals, she was a perfect flower girl!

Their day was beautiful. Full of family, friends, food, cake, love and sunshine. Thank you for letting me photograph your wedding day!!

Ninah6's Summer Activities

We just started Ninah6 Studio about 6 months ago. We have been very lucky and fortunate to have a summer full of engagement sessions and weddings! We are two well-educated women working as portrait photographers in a studio. The two of us met at our current employer and after doing a few in-studio sessions together we quickly learned that we really work great together! So, we decided to get creative and make a business out of our passion! The two of us are in it for the long haul and we cannot wait to see where this adventure takes us. So far every last step has been wonderful and more than we could have imagined. We cannot wait for next year's weddings and we hope to book more! Thank you for keeping up with us and keep checking back for more updates!

I have posted some of our work from this summer!

We had Amber and Brett's engagement session in downtown St. Paul and Irvine Park:

We also had the pleasure of photographing Kristin, Bill and their daughter Grace at the beautiful Minnehaha Falls:

Then came Lisa and Josh's wedding this July. It was a gorgeous summer day for an outdoor ceremony and photos by the lake:

Quickly Amber and Brett's wedding rolled around the corner at the end of August:
