Tis the Season

Christmas time is here which means lots of children and families to photograph! Outside of the studio I got to photograph Miss Ava Joy at her home along with her mother, whom I have known for ten year (crazy), and their dog Lily. Ava is one of the smartest one year olds I have ever met-- and I have met a lot! She is absolultey beautiful and I had so much fun letting her show me her house, her puppy, dancing to Taylor Swift (and sing!) in her bedroom. Here are some of my favorites! (and she loooved her Elmo)

Bill & Kristin

Bill and Kristin were married a few short weeks ago in the Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel. I feel very lucky to have met these two as a couple. I can't get over how much in love these two people were with one another. The way they looked at each other is something like a fairy-tale.  I am sure that being up-close with a camera while they looked deep into each other's eyes only magnified this fact... Their adorable daughter Grace is a perfect mix of Kristin's beauty and Bill's characteristics! Although she proclaimed that she would "take pictures tomorrow" during the after ceremony formals, she was a perfect flower girl! 

Their day was beautiful. Full of family, friends, food, cake, love and sunshine. Thank you for letting me photograph your wedding day!! 

Ninah6's Summer Activities

We just started Ninah6 Studio about 6 months ago. We have been very lucky and fortunate to have a summer full of engagement sessions and weddings! We are two well-educated women working as portrait photographers in a studio. The two of us met at our current employer and after doing a few in-studio sessions together we quickly learned that we really work great together! So, we decided to get creative and make a business out of our passion! The two of us are in it for the long haul and we cannot wait to see where this adventure takes us. So far every last step has been wonderful and more than we could have imagined. We cannot wait for next year's weddings and we hope to book more! Baby Janae

Friends of mine had their third installment to their family a week ago and they gave me the privilege to photograph their new baby just minutes after being born.

Janae Faith Marie Rupert was born at 11:03pm on September 23rd. Her big brother Jeremiah and her big sister Jada welcomed her that evening with wide eyes and lots of curiosity. The Rupert family is near and dear to my heart and I am so happy to have been apart of their big night! Janae is absolutely beautiful and looks just like her sister when she was just a baby. Even down to the pouty lip when she cries. :)
